We got an e-mail about the DC trip: Dear Presbyterians - Thank you so much for sending us on this trip. We learned a lot and had so much fun. Here we are at the Vietnam Memorial Wall (we went to The Lincoln, Korean and WWII Memorials too). We placed flowers here for each of the local soldiers whose names are listed as killed or MIA. We also toured the Pentagon, the Old Post Office and Ford’s Theater, and spent an afternoon at the Smithsonian Museums (we got to pick which one we would go to and some of the chaperones went with each group.) The bus and the hotel were really nice. It was awesome, and we’ll never forget it! Thanks again! The Karns City Kids That Care members A nice photo that came with the note is in the lobby and on our Facebook page. The helen Kay Foundation provided the grant money to pay for the bus and hotel.
