Harry L. Crawford Harry L. "Roy" Crawford, 85, of East Brady died Monday at the Bradyview Manor in East Brady. Born July 27, 1927, in Bradys Bend, he was the son of Harry E. and Minnie M. (Bowser) Crawford. On March 5, 1949, he married the late Beverly J. (Beabout) Crawford. Roy was employed for 33 years by Rex Hide Inc. in East Brady until the time of its closing, and then worked for Indspec Chemical in Petrolia for 11 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, East Brady. Roy enjoyed woodworking, gardening and hunting. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. Roy is survived by three daughters, Barbara C. and her husband, James, Mortimer, of East Brady, Laura M. and her husband, Larry, Hogan, of East Brady and Katherine A. and her husband, Michael, Dailey, of Queenstown; one son, Steven L. Crawford of East Brady; four grandchildren, Jeff and his wife, Melissa Hogan, of East Brady, Jacob and his wife, Tracy, of East Brady, Sarah Dailey of Cincinnati, Ohio, and David Hicks of East Brady; six great-grandchildren, Haylee, Natalee and Kimberlee Hogan, and Emma, Hanna and Jaxxson Dailey; one brother, Raymond and his wife, Judy, Crawford of East Brady; and one sister-in-law, Catherine Crawford of Callensburg. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, his wife Beverly J. Crawford, who died Aug. 9, 2012; one granddaughter, Jennifer Hicks; one great-granddaughter; three sisters; and four brothers. CRAWFORD - Friends of Harry L. "Roy" Crawford who died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church of East Brady. Additional visitation will be from noon until the time of the funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Raymond Eichler officiating. Committal and burial will follow in Bradys Bend Cemetery. The Crawford family suggests memorial contributions be made to the East Brady Ambulance, P.O.
